Educational Lectures
There are many educational activities planned for third year medical students which include the following:
- Team rounds daily at 7:00 am
- Attending rounds - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 am - 10:00 am
- "Morning" report - Monday through Friday 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
- Medical Grand Rounds - Thursdays at 8:00 am
- EKG Course - Wednesdays at 2:00 pm
- Noon Conferences - 12:00 Noon - 1:00 pm
- Subspecialty Case Conferences, - Monday, Thursday, or Friday Afternoons
- Physical Diagnosis Rounds (affectionately called ‘Lumps and Bumps’ by the medical students) - Mondays 3:00 pm
- Dr. Lochrie will meet with you as a group on Wednesdays at 3:00 pm to review selected cases and topics
- Attendance at any autopsies performed on your patients
The educational activities offered to fourth year medical students are as follows:
(Depending on
your elective, many of the subinternships in medicine offer their
own lecture series and conferences).

at 2:00pm.
We also participate in the physical diagnosis programs with Tufts University School of Medicine and the University of Massachusetts Medical School for their second year students
